If you have decided to make some money from home with the Internet, then you’ll need to get into the right frame of mind. This is actually the hardest part to conquer because there are so many different ways to make money Online it soo easy to get distracted.

But you will get distracted, everybody does I know I certainly do. This is where you need to be really hard on yourself and be disciplined.  You need to find system to follow that you are happy with and then stick to that system with blinkers over your eyes.

Stop searching the Internet to find ways to make money when you have found your system.  Stop reading around in the forums wasting time chatting and reading when you whould be ‘working your system’.  Stop reading and sending emails.  Focus, focus, focus.

I cannot tell you how many hours upon hours I’ve wasted by doing exactly the above instead of getting down to building and promoting my sites.  Please don’t fall into the same trap.

Tomorrow I’m going to go over a few ’systems’ to make money on the Internet.  These are from my experience and I’ve found are the best ways to make a passive monthly income Online and are not ‘opportunities’ which fly out of the window and leave you with no money two months down the line.

Since many of you have found this site looking for data entry work from home, I thought I would write this post to share my experience of such work.

I searched and trawled the Internet to find simply data entry work to do at home.  As you have probably found there are no ‘legitimate’ companies that require such work.  What you find are people selling you a ’so called’ product that will teach you to do data work from home or will provide you with a ’so called’ list of places where to find work.

These are all SCAMS!  I found one site and it said that it will show you how to do work with over 17,000 of companies by simply posting simple ads, here’s the quote from their site:

“Once you have signed up with our team, we will provide you with complete guidance and tutorials on exactly how to do these different job tasks and to make this work for you. You will have instant access to over 17,000 companies (and growing) that have looked to our team members to provide assistance in typing and posting data. We will guide you in the process of enrolling with all of the companies. We assure you that you will be accepted to all of these companies and never be denied or charged additional money by these companies.”

Want to know really what it is?  It’s Clickbank!  Anybody can join Clickbank for free.  Clickbank is where you can join and promote as many affiliate programmes as you like to earn a percentage of the sale of the product you are promoting.

Then they show you how to write ads and where to post them to promote the clickbank programs you join.  Granted they do have some kind of software to keep track of your promotions, but this is not data entry work for companies.

You are simply promoting affiliate programmes with ads (which are very ineffective by the way)

But please, DO NOT buy into this.  I did and I asked for a refund (and got it).

This is just a quick post to let you know that I have built some new small sites.  The purpose is split between making money from affiliate programmes and Google Adsense (you get paid merely by someone clicking on an ad).

Google adsense pays you directly into your bank account and the two affiliate programmes I have chosen are from Clickbank and a small individual affiliate programe.  Clickbank used to only pay you by cheque.  Not this is a pain when you live in the UK like me and you receive a USD cheque.  However, Clickbank have moved with the times and after you have received 3 consecutive cheques, you can then apply to have your affiliate fees paid directly to your bank account.

The other small affiliate programme will pay me directly into my PayPal account.  This I am more than happy about because I have two monthly subscriptions from which are taken out of my PayPal account.  So any affiliate money will pay for my subscriptions.  You can also transfer any money over £50.00 from your PayPal account to your own personal account free of charge.

I’ll post again soon to tell you exactly what I have done with my sites.  They are still getting indexed by the search engines so it will be a few weeks before I start to see any income - keep you posted!

If you feel that you can write then there are many freelance writing opporunities available both online and offline. 

Freelance writing can be a great little additional income stream. 

That’s the beauty of freelance writing, you can start off part-time and if you become successful at it, then it can become a full-time career.

Also, keep in mind that the money will only be pocket-money at first.  But once you get established and find your ‘niche’ (more on that below) then you could earn some good money.

2. What’s your spelling and grammar like?

3. Do you have discipline?

4. Deadlines - can you meet them?

5. Are you creative with imagination?
