If you have decided to make some money from home with the Internet, then you’ll need to get into the right frame of mind. This is actually the hardest part to conquer because there are so many different ways to make money Online it soo easy to get distracted.

But you will get distracted, everybody does I know I certainly do. This is where you need to be really hard on yourself and be disciplined.  You need to find system to follow that you are happy with and then stick to that system with blinkers over your eyes.

Stop searching the Internet to find ways to make money when you have found your system.  Stop reading around in the forums wasting time chatting and reading when you whould be ‘working your system’.  Stop reading and sending emails.  Focus, focus, focus.

I cannot tell you how many hours upon hours I’ve wasted by doing exactly the above instead of getting down to building and promoting my sites.  Please don’t fall into the same trap.

Tomorrow I’m going to go over a few ’systems’ to make money on the Internet.  These are from my experience and I’ve found are the best ways to make a passive monthly income Online and are not ‘opportunities’ which fly out of the window and leave you with no money two months down the line.

I’ve had a few readers ask exactly what I do.  Well, I used to run my own House Cleaning Business where I managed the business from home and employed two cleaners to do the cleaning.

This all sounds great but at the time my two little boys (now 5 & 7) were only aged 1 & 3 and all my time was taking up with running the business.  I know I worked from home but I had to be in my office (refurbished loft) full-time.

So this actually went against the grain of the ‘work from home theory’ doesn’t it!  I mean I worked from home and still hardly saw my boys.  I therefore decided to close the business and try (yet again!!) to make money online while only working part-time - whether this be a part-time income or a full-time+ income. 

I’m just at the part-time income now but will soon get to full-time income only working about 15 hours a week within the next 6 months.

So I thought I would make posts describing what I’ve been through over the last few years trying to make money online.  I want to share this with you because I have fallen into the ‘opportunity’ trap, the ‘data work from home’ trap and more.

I’ve only recently found a system to suit me and am slowly but consistenly working at my little online business and seeing a few of my sites on the first page of Google now and my income is slowly rising.

So this is the second think I want to share with you, I’l show you step-by-step what I do in my online business so you can follow suit and do the same.

I’ll make another post soon to get the ball rolling and start from the very beginning!

I know you might not know the answer to this question, but do you know how you want to make money online?  There are so many different ways and I don’t know even a quarter of them.

But what I do know is the best way to make money online is that you really should have a website/blog.  By having a website and/or blog will be your focal point online.  Then when you have a sytem set out then you simply direct traffic to your website.

When people first start off earning some money online they usually do it through promoting other peoples’ products and then receive a commission from the merchant when they have made a sale via your website.  This is called Affiliate Marketing, you being the affiliate.

You could of course sell your own products whether they be online products or offline products (hard goods).  But don’t worry about this if you don’t, there is always affiliate marketing to start off with.  But even if you have your own product or not, you need to know how to promote a product online.

This is really the hardest part for 99.9% of people trying to earn an income online - me included!  I can snap up a website no problem.  I mainly promote affiliate products but I do have one of my own products which is a downloadable course on a previous business of line which is starting a House Cleaning Business.
